*What measures are the administartion here at beach high taking to prevent the possible speding or Mrca.?
“We purchased hand sanitizers for each and every class room teachers and all the offices they all now have hand sanitizers. We’ve given each teacher a box of Clorox wipes for the classrooms. All the rooms have been clean and sanitized all the bath rooms have been clean and sanitizers. We now have a process fro our custodians we they are sanitizing twice during day as well as the teachers bathrooms and restrooms of the staff. Additionally all of the P.E. Teachers has a bottle of water and germicide for the use the P.E. classes and the shower areas. The showers areas here are now being sanitized twice a day once in the morning once in the afternoon. Additionally we sent out to our teachers an email regarding the procedures for maintaining a clean class room. also the teacher were giving posters for their class rooms, which discuss in detail the plot of students and teachers keeping their hands clean. One of the biggest problems we here have at beach high, particularly with the young male students, is that they use the restroom and they don’t wash their hands. That is the most important factor in terms of keeping diseases down that can be transmitted, is students washing their hands.”
* Do you feel these measures are enough or should more be done..?
“I feel these measures are more than antiquate. The hand sanitizers that we provide the teachers with kills 99.9 % of germs and hopefully the students are washing their hands on a regular basis and are maintaining good hygiene, we should have any problems here at beach. We have not received any reports of any teachers or staff members being infected as well as students. Hopefully we can keep this up and we well be okay.
